While exploring the local town, they were deeply moved by the sight of impoverished children, clad in tattered rags and covered in grime. A chance encounter with a woman selling used clothing led them to purchase outfits for these young souls. Witnessing the children's sheer delight, the Rosenblums and Masseys returned to their hotel, believing they had made a difference.
However, that day, a powerful realization took hold. Reflecting on the dire needs of the community, David and Tiffany, Shalem and Lori, dared to dream of a more profound impact. They envisioned a place where vulnerable children could not only thrive but also become agents of change in their own community and for future generations. Their vision was to construct a school, a sanctuary where every child, regardless of their circumstances, would be given the opportunity to unleash their true potential.
Their hotel guide, sensing their passion, recommended a struggling community-supported school known as Rushaga. Eager to explore further, they ventured forth and, within moments of arrival, were confronted with the harsh reality: the school was in desperate need of assistance. Despite the dedicated efforts of the staff, they lacked resources and basic supplies. In that very instant, the Rosenblums and Masseys pledged to do whatever it took to lend a helping hand. David poignantly expressed, "We arrived here seeking a vacation and departed with a calling."
